Economy strong but social equity low, OECD report shows

This write-up of a joint event hosted by the OECD and the Taub Institute for Social Policy Studies in Israel sheds light on the diverse findings from the OECD’s most recent economic survey of Israel. While Israel’s economy was lauded for success and progress, socially, the results were far from impressive. With investment in infrastructure lacking, labor mobility low, and opportunity gaps between the privileged and marginalized bordering on extreme, Israel still has a long way to go.
